Adam Stanović is Senior Lecturer in Music Technology at The University of Sheffield. His research interests are varied, but he is primarily a performer specialising in contemporary electronic music. His works employ a fixed-medium (sometimes accompanied by instruments, electronics, film, and animation) and have received prizes, awards and mentions in the major competitions in the field, including: Prix Russolo (France); IMEB (France); Metamophoses (Belgium); Destellos (Argentina); Contemporanea (Italy); SYNC (Russia); Musica Viva (Portugal); Musica Nova (Czech Republic); KEAR (USA); MusicAcoustica (China). Adam’s music has been heard in over 400 international performances to date, and released on 12 different record labels. Stanović regularly speaks and writes on matters concerning electronic music and media.
