Anna Ullman

Anna Ullman is a researcher, writer, and critic specializing in cultural analysis and the intersections between art, politics, and popular culture. Her current research project at IKK, University of Copenhagen, focuses on the cultivation of residual forms of pre-capitalist artistic practice within the 1970s »folk revival« movement. Ullman has a professional background in journalism and cultural critique, with her work appearing in media outlets such as the newspapers Weekendavisen and Information. She has also worked as a festival curator in experimental and contemporary music, taught at art academies, and is the author of a book on the cultural history of Roskilde Festival.
