Małgorzata Heinrich is a PhD candidate in musicology at the University of Warsaw. She is a coeditor-in-chief of the contemporary music magazine Glissando. She is active as a music critic with Ruch Muzyczny magazine. Her main research interests include contemporary music, soundscape compositions, their ecological, political, and social aspects; music analysis; music activism; and music in African American literature. She also completed a Double Degree Master's in Management Program at Kozminski University and KEDGE Business School (Bordeaux, France). She is an instrumentalist in Polish Indonesian gamelan Warsaw Gamelan Group.
