Andrei Vazyanau is an associate professor at European Humanities University, Vilnius, Lithuania. He holds a PhD in Social Anthropology, with extensive fieldwork background in Ukraine, Romania, and Belarus. His research interests include urban ethnography, media studies, feminist theory, infrastructure and soundscapes. His current research focuses on topics of mobility, bureaucracy, and intimacy in Central and Eastern Europe. He is also a DJ and a member of the band Vapna.
