Bastian Zimmermann is a curator, editor and dramaturge in the field of music and performance. In addition to his ongoing editorial and publishing work at the German magazine Positionen – Texte zur aktuelle Musik, he has been realizing the festival Musik Installationen Nürnberg together with Laure M. Hiendl since 2022 and expanded by Marie-Therese Bruglacher since 2024. Before that, he established performance music series such as Music for Hotel Bars in Berlin, Frankfurt and Donaueschingen.
