Olya Zikrata

Olya Zikrata is an artist-researcher from occupied territory in southern Ukraine. Now based in Montréal (Tiohtià:ke), Canada, she writes on sound and post-Soviet activisms. Her artistic practice ranges across different media, from poetry and experimental film to collaborative multimedia productions. She is also a dedicated teacher who has worked with many aspiring pianists. Olya holds a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Humanities from Concordia University.
