Morten Poulsen

Morten Poulsen works at the intersection of sound art, artistic research, social engagement and activism. Through sound and listening, he explores the ways in which we are embedded in socio-political structures, especially with a focus on gender, power relations and the environment. By creating and nurturing spaces and situations where listening can take place, he allow the listener to become aware of their own role in an expanded soundscape. Morten studied at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen, and the International Center for Knowledge in the Arts, Copenhagen DK.
