Lauren Knight (she/her) is a sound artist and PhD candidate (SSHRC CGS-D) in the Faculty of Information at the University of Toronto. Her research interests include acoustic ecology, cultural sound studies, media history, and research creation. Her written work has been published in various outlets including Radio Journal: International Studies in Broadcast & Audio Media and the Journal of Urban History. She also has produced several podcasts, sonic projects, and documentary films. She is a current board member on both the Canadian Association for Sound Ecology (CASE) and the World Forum for Acoustic Ecology (WFAE).
