Veronika Muchitsch is a musicologist based in Stockholm whose work investigates figurations of music, materiality, meaning, and subjectivity at the intersections of humans and technology in postdigital music cultures. She is the principal investigator of a Swedish Research Council–funded research project at Uppsala University (2025–2028), examining sonic and musical mediations of mental health and gender in online music cultures. Her scholarly work has been published in journals including New Media & Society, Journal of Popular Music Studies, and Twentieth-Century Music, and her creative nonfiction has appeared in publications by InOtherWords and Brill.
