Morten Breinbjerg is an associate professor of digital aesthetics at Aarhus University and researches how sound can open up new ways of understanding, experiencing and participating in the world around us. His work includes sonic citizenship, sonification of climate data and interaction design. Through interactive sound installations, he has also helped to develop new approaches to cultural heritage communication. Morten Breinbjerg has been head of the Department of Digital Design and Information Science at the Department of Communication and Culture since 2015.
