Sissel Raahede Lundgård

Sound designer and PhD student in sound studies, currently working on her PhD project titled Giving voices to sonic citizens through participatory design at Aarhus University. She explores methods for engaging citizens more actively in understanding as well as designing soundscapes across healthcare and urban public spaces. Prior work includes user experience design in projects developing sound technology for healthcare as well as research in an intervention study on improving the soundscapes of Danish nursing homes. Furthermore, she is engaged in standardization and participates in developing a fourth part of the ISO 12913 series focusing on design and intervention for soundscapes.
