Jennifer Gersten is a violinist and writer from New York. Her reporting, essays, and music criticism appear in The New York Times, The New Yorker, Bloomberg, and many other publications. A former tenured tutti violinist with Helsingborg Symfoniorkester (SE), she pursues projects in new and improvised music in the US and Scandinavia.
