Pedro J S Vieira de Oliveira is a Brazilian design researcher in Sound Studies, and is currently a PhD Candidate at the Universität der Künste Berlin. He holds a BA in Graphic Design from UNESP Bauru (Brazil) and an MA in Digital Media from the Hochschule für Künste Bremen (Germany). His research investigates, through the lenses of decolonial thought, the material agency of design within listening practices and their often violent politics.
