Hi Peter.
Please try these multiphonics for me and let me know if the long legato phrase is possible? I'm aware of their "airy" quality, but that's what I want - a noisy phrase, maybe even with audible breathing included...If it will improve the phrase by moving some of them around, then be my guest. Thanks

Re: Multiphonics again!
Hi Simon
I have just uploaded recordings of the 13 different multiphonics for sopranino sax, that you asked for. I really enjoy sopranino-multiphonics, especially the fact that so many of them consist of conventional (non microtonal) intervals.
In his book Kientzy has marked a few of the multiphonics as "instable". That is correct, and I think you should have an extremely good reason for using these. If not so, please avoid them.
There is a right-hand position problem concerning some of the multiphonics. To press the keys C3 (or C5) and 4 (or 5 or 6) at the same time, I have to use righthand thumb on the front of the instrument. This results in a very awkward position which takes a little time to get into. You should be very very careful, if you use these multiphonics in connection with something else. As a general principle you should allow me at least 3 seconds, to get in and out of these positions. This goes for multiphonics: 17, 73, 91, 101, 102.
Please notice Kientzy's "batteries possible avec" to see, how to combine multiphonics within the same awkward position. For example, it is possible to play legato between 101 and 102.
Your 12-multiphonic–legato-row is by this reason unplayable. Furthermore I have to comment, that to play 12 different sopranino multiphonics in a row in your requested tempo is extremely difficult. It would help a lot if it where slower - a least 3 times as slow would be prefered! Or maybe you could reduce the numbers of different multiphonics. That would also help a lot.
If you are sure about a 12-multiphonic–legato-row in the present tempo, I will of course try to learn it. But then you have to use it in the final composition!
