Niclas Nørby Jochumsen Hundahl is a PhD candidate at Aarhus University, where he researches the role of hope in Danish popular music after 2019. His project is situated at the intersection of musicology and cultural studies and theorises the »gesture of hope« as a key concept for understanding how musicians critique and engage in dialogue with their contemporary context.
