Giada Dalla Bontà

Researcher focusing on experimental music; the interaction between art and sound; sound-art and politics; underground cultures and unofficial Soviet and post-Soviet culture. A graduate of Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, she has been working as an independent researcher, curator and writer, supported by grants from the Moscow NCCA, the V-A-C Foundation, the Valand Academy at Göteborg University, and the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art. 

Throughout her career, she has worked with Lisson Gallery, Mondrian Foundation, HNI Rotterdam, Venice Biennale, and collaborated with independent art projects and experimental music labels. 

She is currently based in Berlin and Copenhagen, where she holds a PhD fellowship at the Department of Arts and Cultural Studies at Copenhagen University.
